Management Inducts New Members into Beta Gamma Sigma

The School of Management inducted 71 new members into Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Scholastic Management Honor Society. The Kiva was the setting for the induction ceremony held April 25. The induction was presided over by Frank E. Bartscheck, Gamma of New York Chapter President; Howard G. Foster, associate dean of the School of Management; Arlene Bergwall, assistant dean; and Katherine M. Gerstile, MBA program director. Foster addressed the students and Beta Gamma Sigma's guiding principles: honor, wisdom and earnestness. The chapter was established in 1932 to recognize outstanding management students of high scholarship and good moral character. Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic rank a management student can attain.
