Marjory Dube, 41, assistant professor in medical school

A memorial service for Marjory Dube, 41, a former assistant professor of medicine at the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, was held Nov. 6 in the chapel at Forest Lawn. Dube died Nov. 3 in her home in Amherst after a long battle with cancer.

Obtaining her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan College, Middletown, Conn., she graduated from the UB medical school, serving her residency at the University of Kansas before returning to UB on a fellowship to study endocrinology. She joined the UB faculty in 1983 and practiced as an endocrinologist for six years at the Erie County Medical Center.

She was a member of the American Medical Association.
