Campaign at 30 percent of goal

Published: Nov. 1, 2012

UB’s 2012 Employees Campaign for the Community has raised $255,406.30, or 31.3 percent of its goal of $815,000.

The amount raised as of Nov. 1 is based on the response of 13.3 percent of UB employees who have either made a gift or declined.

The campaign features a number of incentives to encourage employee to donate to the campaign. Only those individuals who have made a donation to the campaign are eligible to win. Prizes will be awarded on Wednesdays and all employees who make a donation by midnight the previous night will be eligible to win. Winners will be posted on the campaign web site under “news.”

Stephen P. Roder of Enterprise Infrastructure Services won the campaign’s first incentive, a parking tag for the spring semester.

Prizes still to be awarded include a $50 gift certificate to the Blue Fire Grill in the Buffalo Niagara Marriott (Nov. 7), an HP Photosmart 6250 printer (Nov. 14) and a Nook (Nov. 21)
