Michael Malkowski, assistant professor of structural biology and senior research scientist at the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, has been recognized by the Eicosanoid Research Foundation for work showcased at the foundation’s 12th international conference held this fall in Seattle. Malkowski received a Young Investigators Award in the category of “Structure/Function” for his abstract, “Substrate Binding to Cyclooxygenases.” The Eicosanoid Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing a forum in which to discuss scientific advances in lipid research.
