Campaign exceeds goal

Published: January 6, 2009

UB’s 2008 Campaign for the Community has gone over its goal, raising $857,384.27, or 100.87 percent of its goal of $850,000.

The amount raised as of Jan. 6 is based on the participation of 42 percent of UB employees who have returned their pledge cards.

The total includes $21,591 contributed by members of the Emeritus Center.

The campaign kicked off on Oct. 15. David L. Dunn, vice president for health sciences, is campaign chair.
