UB’s 2009 J.P. Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge Team placed second in the mixed-team category of the annual 3.5-mile run/walk. Team members Kelly Dearing, project coordinator/lab coordinator, Division of Behaviorial Medicine, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; Beth Del Genio, chief of staff, Office of the Provost; Jim Price, engineer, Facilities Planning and Design, University Facilities; and Glenn Laderer, lead programmer/analyst, Office of Medical Computing, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, were awarded with a commemorative gift in recognition of their accomplishment. Approximately 7,000 persons participated in the 2009 Corporate Challenge.
The Buffalo/Niagara Postal Customer Council, the local direct-mail industry’s business group, has recognized SueAnne Hanrahan, director, Campus Mail Services, with the Individual Impact Award. UB is the recipient of the Company Impact Award.
