Word of Mouth
Where’s your favorite spot on campus—indoors or out—to watch the snow fly?

Looking out of the first floor of the Undergraduate Library in Capen Hall to the back of the campus, facing the Audubon Parkway. With the windows facing the woods, it can be beautiful and misleading at the same time. Misleading, with the wind, because it can look really snowy out and it’s frequently not bad out at all.

When it’s snowing, I like to be in my office, staring out my window in Jacobs, and asking myself, how is it possible that it is snowing sideways?

I enjoy watching the swirling snow from my office window on the 10th floor of Kimball Tower as I plan my ride home.

What’s the best dining spot on campus?
As a Downtown Campus employee, I have so many great spots to choose from—from the Anchor Bar, to Ulrich’s German restaurant, to the Public Library Café, to Moura’s Deli on Court Street, to the Hyatt, and to a great hotdog with all the works off the street vendor cart. We “downtowners” have always been able to enjoy a tremendous menu variety. It’s a plethora of dining pleasure down here!
