Ring, who also serves as artistic director of the Zodiaque Dance Company, says that with the move to distance learning at UB, her students are looking for ways to connect as creatively as possible.

Ring set up a Zoom session from Baird Point after teaching most of her other classes from her kitchen.

“Posting videos of myself in my house has been sort of funny, and new territory. And this idea of Zooming has been exhilarating for us to get together in a new way,” Ring said.

“Baird Point was a great space for us to come together as a dance community,” Ring said.
