Share Thanksgiving with international students

Published October 14, 2019

UB employees can share their Thanksgiving traditions while making connections with members of UB’s diverse international community by taking part in the sixth annual “Thanksgiving Without Borders” program.

The goal of the program, sponsored by International Student Services and the Office of Inclusive Excellence, is to foster a more inclusive community by encouraging meaningful cross-cultural experiences for faculty, staff and students.

International students report that this is one of the experiences that has affected them the most while at UB.

Faculty and staff interested in participating in the program can sign up online. The deadline to register is Oct. 31.

Organizers will match as many UB employees and international students as possible. Those who are chosen to participate will receive information about their students no later than Nov. 14.
