Braces just became a whole lot more affordable.

The School of Dental Medicine’s patient clinic recently lowered its price for orthodontic care and will host an open house where guests can receive free screenings and learn if they or their children are candidates to receive braces.

The open house will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 in Squire Hall, South Campus.

Space is limited. To schedule an appointment, call 716-829-2845.

The UB Dental clinic is an affordable alternative for parents and students seeking orthodontic care. With the average cost of braces in the U.S. hovering around $5,000, the clinic lowered the cost of treatment to under $3,500, with a nominal down payment.
