Music offers free concerts

Budget-conscious music lovers will find a wealth of free concerts available in May at UB. 

The following performances by UB music students offer a wonderful opportunity to hear great music at no cost:

  • MM recital, Peter Gonciarz, organ: 3 p.m., May 3, Lippes Concert Hall, Slee Hall, North Campus.
  • MusB recital, Blair Sailer, violin: 7:30 p.m., May 3, Baird Recital hall, 250 Baird Hall, North Campus.
  • Contemporary Performance Certificate recital, Hangyu Bai, piano: 7:30 p.m., May 5, Baird Recital Hall.
  • String Studio/Chamber Music recital: 12:30 p.m., May 6, Baird Recital Hall.
  • UB Choir and Chorus with UB Symphony, Daniel Bassin and Harold Rosenbaum, conductors: 7:30 p.m., May 6, Lippes Concert Hall.
  • “On The Edge” class performance: 3 p.m., May 7, Baird Recital Hall.
  • Flute Studio recital: noon, May 8, Baird Recital Hall.
  • UB Symphony, Daniel Bassin, conductor: 7:30 p.m., May 8, Lippes Concert Hall.
