Switch over your old Zoom account

If you created a Zoom account with your @buffalo.edu address before March 18, 2020, you must follow the steps below to switch your account to UB's version.

Instructions

1. Remove all users from your account as described in this article (If you do not have any users on your Zoom account, you can skip this step)

2. Visit buffalo.zoom.us/signin and click Sign in (if necessary)

Log into Zoom Web portal.

3. Click Switch to the New Account

4. Click the I Acknowledge and Switch button

Click the I acknowledge and switch button.

5. You will receive a confirmation that an email has been sent to your @buffalo.edu email address with further instructions

6. Check your UBmail (check Spam/Junk folder if necessary), find the message and click Switch to the New Account or the provided link

7. You will be taken to a confirmation screen. Click Sign in Now to sign in with your UBITName and password and use the Web portal, or launch the Zoom desktop client
