How do I change the appearance of my UB WordPress website?

Access some basic options for changing your site's title, byline, header image, background, the order of your widgets and some of the colors by following these steps:

1. Log into your UB WordPress admin interface
2. From the left hand menu, select Appearance
3. Select Customize
4. Enter your changes
5. Click Save & Publish or Cancel

For more control over the fonts, colors and spacing of all the different pieces of your website, you can write and modify Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) rules.

4. Enter your changes
5. Click Update Custom CSS or navigate away from the page to cancel

4. The window on the left shows you available pages, or allows you to create links to other websites or collections of a post category on your site. Create the item you want to add to your site's main navigation, then click Add to Menu.
5. Repeat Step 4 as necessary
6. On the right, under Menu Structure, drag and drop your added items to change their order, or click the disclosure triangle to edit their properties
7. Click Save Menu or navigate away from the page to cancel your changes

Some additional customizations are possible under the Settings tab, including changing the way your posts appear in the site's URL ("permalinks"), date and time format and more.
