Using an HTML Editor

Read instructions for using an “all-in-one” program that handles connecting and editing, such as Adobe Dreamweaver.

An “HTML editor” is a program used to write and edit Web pages. More advanced HTML editors such as Adobe Dreamweaver also help you connect to the Web server in order to upload your files. Dreamweaver is available to UB students, faculty and staff to use remotely from My Virtual Computing Lab.

A Web search for “free HTML editor” will provide you with alternative programs that you may install directly on your computer.

If you are connecting from off campus, you will need to use Anyconnect VPN Client [Win] [Mac] [Linux].
