Using Blackboard on UBlearns.buffalo.edu requires a computer
that is connected to the Internet and a supported web
browser.
It is recommended that you use an up-to-date Web browser. UB
supported software recommendations are available on the UB
Software Downloads site.
Blackboard technical support offers a list of certified and compatible browsers for use with Blackboard.
Special plug-ins or players may be needed to view files such as
PDFs, sound, video and multimedia (e.g., QuickTime, Windows Media,
Flash). These plug-ins and players are available from the UB
Software Downloads site.
In order to use all features of UBlearns, Java must be enabled and pop-up blockers need to be disabled on your Web browser. Check your browser’s help to determine how to do this.
If you need basic information about setting up your computer or
