Latest Enhancements to UBlearns

Blackboard on UBlearns was updated in January 2011 with a number of enhancements.

Interactive Rubrics

The rubric tool is now interactive allowing for student visibility, feedback and more.

Paste from Word Mashup

  • The Add Mashup tool eliminates formatting/display problems when you paste from Microsoft Word.

Supported Browsers

  • Blackboard is now supports Google's Chrome Browser (Stable Channel).

Assessments

  • Feedback for each test answer is now available for Multiple Answer questions.
  • Timed assessments include detail on time spent on an attempt and can be set to automatically submit when timer expires. 
  • If announcements are created for a test, the date and time of the most recent announcement appears on the Test Options page.

Needs Grading

  • Gradable Blogs, Journals, Wikis, and Discussion Board activity can appear in Needs Grading status in the Grade Center and on the Needs Grading page.
