Office 2013 runs on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems. When you run Office 2013 32-bit on a 64-bit version of a Windows operating system, the program runs in the 32-bit layer of the Windows operating system. No support is provided for side-by-side installations of 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Office. For example, there is no support for side-by-side installations of Office 2010 32-bit with Office 2013 64-bit, or for Excel 2010 64-bit and Word 2013 32-bit.
Lync Server 2013 is available only in a 64-bit edition, which requires hardware and a 64-bit edition of the Windows Server operating system. A 32-bit edition of Lync Server 2013 is not available with this release.

Software is made available to you because The State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) has purchased license coverage for the Software through its Microsoft Campus Subscription Enrollment effective October 1, 2010. You are not licensed to use the Software at home for personal purposes. You do not own the license, rather you are authorized to use the Software pursuant to the terms and conditions of the licensing agreement. Remove or Uninstall Office 2010 Trial Versions or Office 2013 trial versions of Office or versions you installed with a license key before you download and install Office 2013 from UB. Installing over a trial or demo or version licensed with a key causes problems and prompts you for a product key for the UB version.

Your Office download will continue to work the entire time you are at UB. When you are no longer a current student, faculty or staff member, you must remove Office from your computer.
