Remove or secure Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from your personally-owned computer.
Identity Finder Desktop for personally-owned computers scans
files and email on your computer and locates PII.
PII is information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact or locate a single person or can be used with other sources to uniquely identify a single individual, e.g. social security numbers, credit card numbers or bank account numbers associated with a person's name or identity.
If your email is on UBMail Powered by Exchange, Identity Finder Desktop will help you to identify email messages that contain PII directly, and you can click the Shred option to shred them.
If your email is on UBmail (Central Email) with either IMAP or POP or UBmail Powered by Google, Identity Finder Desktop cannot shred messages that contain PII directly, but will identify those messages for you to delete manually.
