Getting Started with iprint anywhere

Learn how to configure your personal computer or laptop running Windows or  Mac OS to use iprint anywhere from on or off campus to print to campus computers. Find printer locations. iprint anywhere is only compatible with MacOS and Windows computers. It is not compatible with iOS devices, Chromebooks, Kindles, Android devices, Nook or Linux.

Use iprint anywhere to print from:

  • On-campus, including university residence halls and campus apartments
    • On wired ResNet connections
    • On UB Secure Wi-Fi
  • Off-campus
    • After using the VPN client AnyConnect [Win] [Mac] to connect to the UB Network.

There is no software to download. Just configure your computer to print to the desired printer, then submit your print job and release it at a print release station.

Configuring your computer for iprint anywhere

iprint anywhere is only compatible with MacOS and Windows computers. It is not compatible with iOS devices, Chromebooks, Kindles, Android devices, Nook or Linux.

Where to print to using iprint anywhere

Use iprint anywhere to send your print job to printers in:

  • Abbott (HSL)
  • Architecture Library
  • Blake Center
  • Capen 1st Floor Cybrary
  • Clement 128
  • Clinton 114
  • Fronczak 408
  • Law Library (O'Brian)
  • Lockwood 2nd Floor Cybrary
  • Music Library

You cannot print to Bell 101, departmental printers or printers in apartment business centers using iprint anywhere.

Releasing Your Print Job

Once you submit your print job from your computer, you must release it from a Release Station at the computing site in order for it to print.
