Verify Your VoIP Phone Location is an automated process UB uses to verify VoIP phone network location information so that 911 emergency responders know where you are in an emergency. Verification provides an additional step to assure the accuracy of our records for 911 emergency responders.
Your phone will prompt you, on its LCD screen, to verify your VoIP phone location.
The verification prompt will display on your phone for 30 seconds every 20 minutes until you verify your location. You will be asked to verify your location every 180 days.
Prompt: Is the location below correct? Choose 1. Yes or 2.
No.
If you choose 1, the location is correct. You will be thanked
for verifying your location.
Your information will be updated if you answered that the
location was incorrect.
