Note: When calling 911 using Jabber, caller location is not identifiable or traceable by emergency services personnel.
There are multiple ways to make a call in Jabber.
You must be logged into the Jabber application to receive a call.
When you receive an incoming call, the Jabber toast pop-up opens on your computer screen.
My UB email is no longer working, and Jabber no longer works for me. What happened?
If your appointment with Human Resources lapses, you will lose access to many resources, including email and the Jabber softphone.
Jabber uses data found in the UB Online Directory. If your entry is not up-to-date, a person making a call may not reach you. Have your HR representative update your information in the UB Online Directory. Jabber does not use user-supplied data.
