UB Secure is the recommended access choice for UB's campus network. Your UBITName and password and all data transmitted from your device to the wireless access point (the campus network) are encrypted.

1. Select Settings from the Nook options menu.
2. Select Wireless from the Device Settings group.
3. Select Other Network from the Wireless Networks list. This brings up the Add Wi-Fi network dialogue.
4. Complete the fields with the following information:
   • Enter UB_Secure (this is case sensitive) for Network SSID
   • Select 802.1x EAP for Security
   • Enter your UBITName for login
   • Enter your UBIT password for the wireless password
5. Touch Save.

The Nook will connect to UB Secure automatically when in range of UB's Wi-Fi network.
