Use email forwarding to take mail destined for one email address
and redirect it to a different email address. You can set a forward
so email addressed to your UB email address is delivered to any
non-UB email address
People eligible to set, update and remove email forwarding
are:
- Current students
- Volunteers
- Faculty
- Staff
If you set up an email forwarding request and need to have the
confirmation email resent to you:
- Log into
Central Email Forwarding.
- Click Resend confirm email. A confirmation email will be
sent to your non-UB email address.
- There are two ways to confirm the forwarding request:
- Click the link provided in the confirmation email or copy and
paste it into your browser.
- Log into
Central Email Forwarding, enter the confirmation ID (provided
in the confirmation email) for Confirm ID. Click
Confirm.
To cancel a pending forwarding request:
- Log into
Central Email Forwarding.
- Click Cancel forward request. Your email forwarding request
will be discarded and messages will delivered to your UB email
address.
If your email is being forwarded to a non-UB email address and
you want to stop the forward:
- Log into
Central Email Forwarding.
- Click Stop Forwarding Email. Email forwarding will end;
all future messages will be delivered to your UB email
address.

address.

filters.
