An email client is a program that connects to an email server and acts as an interface through which you can access your email.

We recommend that you use these email clients:

• Mozilla Thunderbird
  Thunderbird is an open-source email client from Mozilla. Thunderbird has a quick message search system and customizable views.

• Microsoft Outlook
  Outlook is part of the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Outlook is an email application that includes extras like a calendar, contact manager and a journal to help you keep a record of email interactions you want to remember.
  
   To use Outlook, download:
  • Microsoft Office 2007 for Windows
  • Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows
  • Microsoft Office 2011 for Macintosh
    
    

At times when you do not have access to your email client, or if you prefer not to use an email client, you can log into the Web version of UBmail (Central Email) through any Web browser (except Firefox 4 for the advanced interface).
