Search folders are not the same as personal folders

Personal Folders are located on your computer's hard disk instead of the server, and do not appear in OWA.

  1. Close Outlook if it is open. Click Start > Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Mail.
  3. Select Show Profiles.
  4. Select your current profile. Select Properties.
  5. Click E-mail Accounts. If your Exchange account name and type appear automatically, skip to step 7.
  6. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts. Click Next.
  7. Select your Exchange account. Click Change at the top below the tabs.
  8. Deselect Use Cached Exchange Mode check box. Click Next.
  9. Click Finish. Click Close. Click OK.
  10. Start Outlook. In the Folder List, expand Search Folders. As soon as all the Search Folders have updated, they can be viewed from OWA.
