The first time you sign in to Lync you will recieve an error, “Can’t sign in to Lync”. This is a known issue and can be resolved by a second sign in.
1. An error will pop up: Can’t Sign in to Lync.
2. Click OK.
3. In the User name field change the full email address to ad\ followed by your UBITName (e.g., ad\jdoe) and re-enter your UBIT password.
4. Click Sign In.
5. When you click on a URL to join a Lync meeting, you will see the sign in request.
