Checking Audio and Video for Windows Using Skype for Business

Checking Audio

1. Click Options (gear icon) > Tools > Audio Device Settings.

2. Select Audio Device.

3. Under Customize your device > Speaker, click the green arrow to test the speakers.

4. If you don't hear anything, from the Speaker pull-down menu, select your speakers. This may be needed if you are using a headset.

5. Talk and you should see the blue bar moving on the microphone.

6. If you don't see the blue bar moving, from the microphone pull-down menu, select your microphone.  This may be needed if you are using a headset.

7. Click OK.

Checking Video

1. Click Options (gear icon) > Tools > Video Device Settings.

2. Select Video Device.

3. You should see yourself automatically.

4. If you don't see yourself, under Select the camera you want to use for video calls: pull-down menu, select your camera. 

5. Click OK.
