Checking Audio and Video for Windows Using Skype for Business

Checking Audio

sign in using ad\ followed by your UBITName.

1. Click down arrow next to the Options (gear icon) and choose Tools > Audio Device Settings.

2. Select Audio Device.

3. Under Customize your device > Speaker, click the green arrow to test the speakers.

4. If you don't hear anything, from the Speaker pull-down menu, select your speakers. This may be needed if you are using a headset.

5. Talk and you should see the blue bar moving on the microphone.

6. If you don't see the blue bar moving, from the microphone pull-down menu, select your microphone.  This may be needed if you are using a headset.

7. Click OK.

Checking Video

1. Click down arrow next to Options (gear icon) and chose Tools > Video Device Settings.

2. Select Video Device.

3. You should see yourself automatically.

4. If you don't see yourself, under Select the camera you want to use for video calls: pull-down menu, select your camera. 

5. Click OK.
