The Reader station has special hardware and software to read printed documents aloud, enlarge them onscreen to high magnification or scan and convert them to audio files (WAV and MP3).
The Reader station is located in the Capen 1st floor computing site.
Cybrary
software is available on the Reader station along with the
reader application, Kurzweil 3000, version 10.04. Current UB
students, faculty and staff may log into the Reader station.
