Linux stations feature Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system, a base suite of software, and an enhanced set of software for certain majors.

Linux Station Locations

Bell 101

Bell Hall Room 101 is open to everyone with a valid UBITName. See  how to request a SENS account to use the workstations.

School of Engineering Software

Students, faculty and staff in the School of Engineering have the software described above, but also these additional titles when they log into Linux stations:

  • Cadence
  • Ansys
  • Abaqus
  • Greenfoot
  • HFSS
  • Magic
