Log into SUNY WebConnect

Operating System: Windows Vista and above; Mac OS 10.8 and above

Steps to Log into SUNY WebConnect from SUNY Employees Services Portal

  1. In a Web browser, go to
  2. Click on in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Scroll down to Employee Resources. Click on SUNY Portal.
  4. Select Buffalo Univ from the drop down box. Click on Login.
  5. Enter your UBITName and password. Click on Log in.
  6. Click on E‐Business Services from the menu at the top.
  7. Click on WebConnect from the menu on the right. If the WebConnect page is not activated you may need to unblock pop‐ups in your browser.
  8. You might receive security warnings. Accept the risk and run the application.
  9. The WebConnect window appears – click on Connect to System Admin SUNYBUF.
  10. A black screen called SUNY Inter-Campus Data Network appears. Enlarge the screen for easier viewing. Click on PF9 on the key pad at the bottom of the screen.
  11. On the next screen type 1 to select CENT (SUNY System Administration Online) and press ENTER. The CICS screen appears. Clear the screen by clicking on CLEAR on the key pad.
  12. If reconciling a PCard, proceed to the steps to reconcile your Procurement Card. Otherwise, type in the appropriate command based on your task (e.g., ONLINE, SUNY, CENT)
