Configure Firefox and Java for SUNY WebConnect (Macintosh)

1. Configure Firefox

  1. Open Firefox (Must use Firefox 34 or higher).
  2. From the Menu bar, select Firefox > Preferences.
  3. Select the Content icon.
  4. Using the Allowed sites button, add:

2. Configure Java

  1. Click Control Panel (Windows) or System Preferences (Macintosh). Click Java.
  2. Click About. You must use Java 8.25.
    • If you are using Java 7.X, uninstall it and install Java 8.25 instead. When done, click Control Panel, then Java.
    • If you are using Java 8.25, proceed to step 3.
  3. In the Security tab, click Edit Site List.
  4. Click Add, then enter http://* and click OK. Click Continue.
  5. Click Add, then enter and click OK. Click Continue.
  6. Click Add, then enter and click OK. Click Continue
  7. Click OK.
