Gabrielle Gosset (UB Student, Class of 2016) is studying Electrical Engineering and dreams of inventing something someday. In her free time, she enjoys writing, playing video games and watching cooking shows.

Cutting Edge Work

Samuel Hixon is a Classroom Support Engineer who is ready for a fresh start at UB after years of working as a Broadcast Engineer.

"I felt like my next step would be working at a college campus," Samuel said. "I couldn’t be happier with my new career here at UB. It’s pretty special to be working at a place that has set me up to succeed."

Sam is particularly excited about the work that NCS is currently doing around UB's campus. He added, “NCS is involved in some very special projects, working with cutting edge technology to keep the classrooms fresh and online, which gives students the best chance to learn and reach their potential.”

An avid reader of military history, Samuel has a passionate interest in the Vietnam War and World War II, in which his father and grandfather served respectively.

High Standards

Mark Sheehan joins NCS as their newest Classroom Services Engineer. With many years of experience in audio, visual and low voltage systems, Mark is "looking forward to the challenges and rewards UB has to offer.”

Over the past few months, he's found the NCS team to be good fit. "I have met so many friendly, helpful people," Mark added. "I am very impressed with the amount of technology and high standards here at UB."

Outside the office, Mark enjoys playing a good game of golf or camping, and always enjoys being outdoors with friends and family. He is also very involved with the community as a coach for his children’s sports team and often assists at school events.
