Dan Hartman (UB Student, Class of 2016) was born in Rochester, NY. He transferred to UB after earning an Associate’s Degree at Monroe Community College and is working towards completing his Bachelor’s in Communication. Dan hopes to become a screenwriter someday. In his free time, he enjoys working out, eating cereal, and spending time with his friends.

On April 14, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in UB’s Center for the Arts, UB’s Information Security Office will be participating in UB Wellfest, an annual event on wellness and healthy living, to raise awareness on Internet security. Members of the UB community are invited to join Senior Information Security Analyst Dr. Catherine J. Ullman to learn about staying safe online and protecting personal information.

Shark Girl will be attending UB Wellfest and available for selfies.

"Come and take a selfie with Shark Girl, fish in our ‘Phishtank,’ and get answers to your questions on computer security," Dr. Ullman said.

Participants at the Information Security Office’s table can change their UBITName password to win one of three prizes or take a chance at the Phishtank to answer computer security questions.  Dr. Ullman hopes that the Information Security Office’s presence at UB Wellfest will encourage faculty and staff to practice safe online behavior.
