Live transcription will appear in your meeting controls at the bottom of your Zoom window. To start a live transcript at any time during a meeting you’re hosting, click Live Transcript and select Enable Auto-Transcription.

To learn more about how this feature works, visit our Zoom Service Guide on the UBIT website.

When you enable live transcription in Zoom, your meeting participants will have two options for viewing the transcript, both available under the Live Transcript button in their meeting controls at the bottom of the Zoom window:

  1. Show/Hide Subtitle: the transcript will appear as subtitles in a box over the meeting window. This box can be moved around the meeting window to a convenient spot by the participant.
  2. View Full Transcript: the full transcript, annotated with the name of each speaker, will appear on the right side of the meeting window. Anyone in the meeting can view and save this transcript.
