Faculty and staff: upgrade Panopto software before July 20, 2018

Using Panopto on your personally owned computer or mobile device? You'll need to upgrade to version 5.6 for the best security and functionality.

Starting Friday, July 20, if you are using an older version of the Panopto software, you will receive a message when you open Panopto asking you to upgrade.

Clicking “Download Now,” or “Update Now” in this message is safe, and will provide you with the latest version.

To avoid any interruption, download the latest version of Panopto before July 20. Log into ub.hosted.panopto.com and click Download Panopto in the upper-right corner.

For work devices, your IT support staff can help you upgrade Panopto's software as needed.
