Gartner research available to UB community

Student accessing Gartner's premium online

UB students, faculty, and staff can now access Gartner's premium online catalog of IT research at no extra cost.



Daniel Heuskin (UB Student, Class of 2017) is originally from Long Island, NY. He is studying English at UB with aspirations to become a teacher or writer. In his free time, he enjoys playing bass guitar, doing nature photography, writing songs and reading.

Gartner is a major IT research and advisory firm that specializes in exploring and projecting business trends in information technology.

Using a UBITName and password, UB students, faculty and staff can access a personalized MyGartner portal and explore Gartner's entire research library—comprising thousands of articles on various IT and business topics, as well as trend visualizations, special reports, complimentary research, and more.

With a MyGartner account, UB community members can explore trends, track topics of interest, and receive personalized recommendations for further reading. UB students, faculty, and staff can also participate in regular events and webinars offered free to MyGartner members.
