New way to print

Print

Printing from your computer to a public computing site is now handled through a simple online Web form: https://iprintanywhere.buffalo.edu. You can find complete instructions at www.buffalo.edu/ubit/print-web, but we hope you won’t need them.

As before, you should select a color printer to print in color, and print jobs must be released and picked up at a computing site. The old method will no longer work and will give you an “Unable to connect” error.

Print from your phone or tablet, and from UBbox

In even bigger news, UBIT listened to students and faculty, and now supports printing directly from your phone or tablet to a public computing site! You can either use your mobile device’s browser to visit the link above, or install the free Printeron app (available for Android and iOS devices). The advantage of the Printeron app is that it works seamlessly with cloud services like UBbox, Dropbox and iCloud, too! Get set up: www.buffalo.edu/ubit/print-mobile.

As always, our mission at UBIT is to equip you with the technology you need to succeed in your academic career. Good luck this semester!
