UB OWA Phish Don't Click "Important E-mail Notification!" 08-27-15

An email claiming to be from University at Buffalo e-mail staff is attempting to trick the UB into giving away their account information.

Red flags: How you can tell it is a fake

  1. The sentence does not use correct grammar.
  2. If you hover over the URL, you will notice that the link redirects the user to a non-UB site

I already clicked the links. What should I do?

  • If clicked on the link, but did not enter your password, please check that your computer security or anti virus program is on and up to date.

I did not click on the links. What should I do?

Delete the email.
