UB Login Phish - Do not click 'Library' email
An email supposedly from the University at Buffalo Libraries claims that your library account has expired and therefore you must immediately take action to reactivate your account.
Red flags: How you can tell it is a fake
- The email is not addressed directly to a particular person/account.
- The URL is not a buffalo.edu web site.
I already clicked the links. What should I do?
- If you entered your password, change it immediately - go to Changing Your Password.
- If clicked on the link, but did not enter your password, please check that your computer security or anti virus program is on and up to date.
I did not click on the links. What should I do?
Delete the email.
