Information Security Awareness Training

Understanding how information security impacts you while you are at UB is very important. The Information Security Office makes a variety of awareness materials available both electronically and in print. Online awareness materials range from general purpose introductory items to topic specific.

An introductory level course developed in collaboration with Learning & Development and is intended to introduce general information security concepts. This is available to anyone; no authentication is required.

This UBlearns course explains the laws and regulations that UB needs to comply with and illustrates to effectively achieve that. Handling Data Safely materials are available to anyone with a UBITName.

Security awareness training videos can be included in UB departmental awareness materials and offer a more in-depth view of information security topics in short video format. Please contact the Information Security Office for more information on these licensed materials.
