Digital signatures for email allow you to prove to the recipient of your email that you were, in fact, the person that sent the email and encrypt the email for added security.
IT staff may request InCommon certificates for digital signatures for the faculty and staff they support.
Certificates may be for person or non-person accounts, and may be for 1 or 2 years. Non-person accounts require a list of responsible UBITNames.
There is no charge for certificates for digital signatures.
