Project Description

The Microsoft 365 project, over a five year period, will:

  • Transition UBmail to Exchange Online
  • Switch faculty and staff to Defender ATP anti-virus
  • Provide all UB faculty, staff and students the MS 365 suite of software
  • Eliminate duplicate programs, such as Symantec and GSuite software

Common questions

Will I still be able to use Zoom for video conferencing?

 UB has no current plans to retire Zoom and will continue to offer it for UB students, faculty and staff for the foreseeable future.
