Campus Living

The primary mission of Campus Living IT is the support of computer equipment and software applications for Campus Living staff.  Each member of the Campus Living IT team is able to help with your computer and technology questions and  problems that occur when dealing with software and hardware. Your request will be assigned to a team member. By going through our help system, we are able to track requests and workflow among our team members. Computer Equipment suport is provided  for desktop computers, printers, laptops, smart phones, and peripheral devices.  Enterprise Application support includes, RMS, TMA, BASIS, and KRONOS.

The Application Support/Information Services department provides computer access for many constituencies across campus for the use of the "Advance Web" AWA database and the UBFirst application. This department develops rules, training and operating practices for the various entities and evaluates the level of security needed to safeguard the integrity of the data. In addition, the Application Support/Information Services department generates standard fund raising reports and responds to ad-hoc reports requested by units across campus.

Network and User Support provide server and desktop support for the offices of Development and Alumni Relations along with the UB Foundation staff at the Center for Tomorrow.

Web Services provides development and support for websites for the UB Alumni Association, Giving to UB, the UB Foundation, Inc. and Development and Alumni Relations Intranet. This department also develops and maintains the Development and Alumni Relations helpdesk application, online giving, and other online payments to UB Foundation accounts. Web Services supports and maintains the UBFWIT and UBF Checkout applications.

HSIT is an administrative arm of the office of the Vice President for Health Sciences.  HSIT's charge is to serve as a tool for integrating Information Technology (IT) resources across UB's Health Science Schools, their affiliates, and other IT entities both within and external to UB.  HSIT exists to help our health sciences professionals utilize IT in the realization of their various educational, research, community and health care objectives.
