Transfer Students

The UB Curriculum provides transfer students an opportunity to immediately connect with the campus community.

Transfer Student Prior Coursework

Transfer student coursework will receive a holistic review to assess what previous coursework articulates to the various components of the new Program. The aim is to provide transfer students with the same opportunities and benefits all other UB undergraduates are afforded as a result of the new Program, while also recognizing their prior coursework.

Transfer work, including the SUNY GETA (General Education Transcript), will continue to be honored at the University at Buffalo.  At minimum, transfer students will complete two local requirements while at the University at Buffalo: the UB Seminar and the Integrative Capstone.  It is feasible that all other program components could be met with prior coursework.
