Christopher J. O’BrienChristopher J. O’Brien was appointed to the UB Council in January of 2008. He is Co-Director of the Trial Advocacy Program at UB Law School and has also co-taught a UB Law School class for several years on The Art and Science of the Jury Trial with the Honorable Thomas P. Franczyk, J.C.C. Mr. O’Brien is a partner at the law firm of O’Brien Boyd, P.C. in Amherst, New York. He is a trustee of the National College of Advocacy and is one of only seven attorneys in New York State recognized as a Diplomate by the American Association for Justice. He regularly lectures on a national basis for the American Association for Justice and for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, as well as supervising UB Law School's trial teams. Mr. O'Brien has been active in a number of community organizations including David's Dinner for Famine Relief, Buffalo Fenians Gaelic Football Club, Canisius High School Alumni Board of Directors, the Food Shuttle of Western New York, Inc. and the Parish Council of St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church. |
