How to use Digication for UB Curriculum ePortfolios

Location: 316 Harriman Hall, South Campus

ePortfolios encourage students to document and reflect on their learning. This session provides a basic overview of Digication, including logging in, configuring your Digication course created through HUB, using the discussion forum, using the assignment creation tool, and creating and/or linking to ePortfolio templates. An in-depth look at grading ePortfolios and the use of rubrics within Digication is covered in a separate workshop.

Participants are encouraged to bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop. Time will be available at the end of this workshop for participants to work with Digication with individualized support.

  • Utilize Digication to configure the settings in your Digication course site
  • Explore Digication tools and functionality
  • Build learning ePortfolio templates for UB Curriculum courses

  • UB Curriculum instructors

Requirements

  • Digication is currently available for use in UB Seminar and ENG 105 courses. Other faculty and staff who are not associated with these specific initial UB Curriculum courses may use Digication for the creation of a personal ePortfolio and to become familiar with Digication for future course implementation.
