CEI Academies are designed to help faculty develop and reimagine their current teaching practices while creating meaningful artifacts that will culminate in enhancing their pedagogical approach and provide evidence of investment in evolving their teaching.
Our Faculty Collaboration Studio is designed as the university’s innovative pedagogical research and teaching experimentation hub and provides faculty with a dedicated space to create, share, design and experiment with innovative models and learning designs.
Our showcase series highlights faculty who have integrated pedagogical and  educational technology innovations into their curriculum.
This conference supports excellence in teaching at UB and is made possible through an endowment by Drs. Ron Gentile and Kay Johnson-Gentile.
These events are designed to encourage research collaboration among faculty.
Beginning spring 2019, our center will invite continuing and online education professionals to join a community of collaboration.
From 2016-18, UB EXCITE (University at Buffalo Excellence in Course Instruction Through Enquiry) was CEI's initiative to promote innovation in teaching and learning at UB.
The Seed Grant for Promoting Pedagogical Innovation, offered through CEI from 2015-17, intended to promote excellence in university teaching, learning and assessment. In particular, it intended to enhance UB’s capacity to successfully obtain external grants to support university pedagogical innovation.
UB's annual Assessment Day is designed to help faculty, staff and administrators develop assessment strategies.
