UB’s new recruitment management system is expected to go
live January 29th, 2007. Plans to link from UB’s main web
page, UB Business and MyUB are in progress. The project is very
close to completion, with only one last round of changes left to be
done by the vendor, PeopleAdmin. PeopleAdmin is adding a set of
qualifying questions that will pre-screen applicants. Training on
the system is scheduled to begin during the week of January 16th,
and an applicant tutorial is expected to be completed within a
similar timeframe. HR will provide additional training sessions on
as as needed basis.
PeopleAdmin has been contracted for implementation. Campus
communications are under development for the rollout phase,
expected to begin in early 2007.
The Recruitment Management System will be launched in January
and ePTF has been piloted to five units who will change over
completely from the Renaissance system by the end of this year.
The Recruitment Management System team is working with
PeopleAdmin to meet the January 2007 deadline, when the new
recruitment tool is expected to be piloted at UB. The training
materials for the RMS system have recently arrived and
train-the-trainer planning is being considered.
The software vendor contract with PeopleAdmin has been signed
and the implementation team is in place. A site visit occurred on
July 12 and 13 where PeopleAdmin representatives provided training
and startup information to the implementation team. The position
description and applicant tracking system implementation
questionnaires have been completed and provided to the vendor. The
project team created a mock-up of the product website, and data for
position description module was provided to the vendor. Finally, a
policy and procedure committee was formed which is currently
reviewing all state and federal affirmative action rules and
regulations.
