The UB Oracle Calendar Service is a university-wide calendar infrastructure that offers an accessible calendaring solution to all UB faculty and staff. To opt in to the consolidated calendaring infrastructure and request the creation of a calendar node, please send an e-mail to ub-cal-services@buffalo.edu. A representative of the calendaring team will contact you to assess your needs and help with the initial administration and set-up.

The UB Oracle Calendar Service provides an enterprise-class calendaring platform that is highly available, with clustered servers connected to enterprise storage to enable business continuity. Data is backed up to tapes in two locations using the Campus Enterprise Backup Services (Tivoli Storage Manager).

The UB Oracle Calendar Service is accessible via multiple methods—workstation client and Web client—to ensure connectivity flexibility for the end user. End users of the UB Oracle Calendaring Service must have an active UBIT account.
