The Agency for Healthcare
Research and Quality awarded the grant to the American
Academy of Family Physicians National Research Network, a
multidisciplinary group that accelerates the pace of translational
research by nurturing learning collaboratives.
By stimulating high quality research among PBRNs, the initiative
aims to generate new knowledge for primary care practices and
ultimately improve the quality, safety and effectiveness of patient
Fox directs the Upstate New York Practice Based Research Network (UNYNET), nationally recognized for research that translates evidence-based care into practice.
His research focuses on community collaboration, health information technology, practice-based research, primary care treatment of chronic kidney disease and quality improvement.
